Hello, I'm Michael Gonci!
I hold a Master’s in Economics from the University of Florida and have a passion for turning data into clear, meaningful insights. I’m naturally curious, always asking why things work the way they do, and I enjoy using that mindset to help teams solve problems and make smarter decisions.I love working with data and uncovering the story behind it. Whether I’m tracking progress toward goals, analyzing trends, or supporting a team’s strategy, I enjoy knowing my work helps people make better decisions.I’ve led projects focused on sales analysis, performance dashboards, and pricing models that drive strategic growth. I take time to understand what others need, ask the right questions, and build solutions that are actually useful. I believe good communication and thoughtful problem solving are just as important as technical skills.To bring data to life, I use tools like Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau. I focus on clarity and impact, cutting through the noise to highlight what matters most. Data only works if people can understand it and act on it.Outside of work, I’m always learning. Whether I’m leveling up my technical skills, reading about behavioral economics, or playing pickleball, I’m always finding new ways to grow and stay sharp.
My Approach
I believe that data should tell a story, not just sit in a spreadsheet. My approach always starts with understanding the perspective of the person using the insights. What do they need to know? What decisions are they trying to make?I focus on cleaning and organizing data in a way that removes distractions and highlights what matters most. From there, I use simple visuals to make patterns clear and decisions easier. Good analysis should feel intuitive, not overwhelming.Data is only valuable when it's presented in a way the viewer can quickly understand and act on. That’s the standard I hold myself to in every project I take on.
